It is one of the types of Uzbek breads (we call bread - "non", well known as "naan" over the world). Usually women make it in villages, with sun dried tomatoes and onion from their garden, everything is organic and tasteful. This recipe I know from my grandmother, she was popular with her cooking skills. I hope to share some more recipes from her kitchen in future, as soon as possible :)
You'll need: 1-2 onions, sun dried tomatoes and 100 gr butter (or margarine, my grandmother had used homemade butter), flour for not too soft and not too hard dough. Put the tomatoes in a bowl and pour boiled hot water, leave for several hours, better overnight. Then knead dough with this water, it gives a taste.
Cover the dough with stretch film and let it rest at least for 30 minutes
From this dough I've got two breads
We use special molding hammer to avoid bread to over inflate by opening holes on the bread surface, you can use a fork. Brush it with eggs yolk and yogurt mixture.
Decorate the bread with nigella seeds. Bake at a temperature of 160 ° C.
Yeast solinmagan shekil-a?
ReplyDeleteHa, Husnorahon. Xamirturushsiz xamir, qulayligi ham shunda, nonushtaga bir zumda tayyor :)
DeleteThe dough is without yeast, just make a dough and bake.
